It is in the first month of winter, it is not fiercely cold yet but each day is colder. Snow constantly falls, not very heavy but noticeably. It is windy, and nearly dark consistently. There is a hard packing of snow under a fluffy layer. Snowshoes would certainly be an advantage here.
Tributes who do not go to extra lengths to protect themselves from the cold will suffer frostbite, windburn and hypothermia after at least a day in Winterfell.
Black wool pants, black leather boots lines with fur. Grey wool shirt and basic black gloves. A simple black and grey trimmed cape made of wool. A silver clasp for the black cape is shaped like a Dire-wolf.
Landmarks: Stark Castle, The Wall, The Godswood (maybe..)
Mutts: Direwovles (If beaten and not killed. Can be subdued and trained), whitewalkers.
*If a tribute successfully trains a Dire-wolf, it can not kill another tribute. It can help attack but it must be the tribute doing majority of the work in a kill.
